Dearest Harriet
Forgive red ink (no sinister meaning)
I believe you have heard from Joan Bickers1 and Ken Andrews2 – I know how generous you are. Is there any chance? It is a good work I think.
Love from
RVW
1. Joan Bickers has not been identified. Herbert Kennedy Andrews was an organist and composer. It is not clear to what this refers.
2. Kennedy Andrews. In 1932 VW had written to Ann Macnaghten that ‘Kennedy Andrews has written some lovely songs and fine motets for unaccomp[anied] voice’ (see VWL1149).
