They are splendid: now here are two more.
A. Cd you alter the 1st 3 lines of verse II of Aunt Jane’s song so as to make the pause in the sense come at the end of the line, as it does in verse I – if not I can alter the tune, but wd. rather not. At present they go
O tender blossoming
O little mouths that cling –
a wife –
(pause in music, have it same tune as verse I)
Finds etc.
B. Cd you make a 2nd verse in the same metre to Mary’s 4 lines beginning
In the night time I have seen you
riding, riding –
