I think it w^d be much better to have Menuhin’s marks only & to delete mine when they conflict unless M. thinks that these markings are only suitable for him and not for the common-garden violinist.¹

1. The solo part of the Violin Concerto in D minor (originally Concerto Accademico but renamed in 1951), Catalogue of Works 1925/7, had been revised by Yehudi Menuhin in preparation for a performance he was to give on 25 September, 1952. Oxford University Press was publishing his edition of the solo part separately.
