Your distressing news about poor Robin1 is most heart breaking – certainly the only thing for him is to get right away from associations.
I daresay you saw in the Times that Emmie (Mrs R.O.2) died last week – she had been ill for a long time & we expected it for some weeks.
I think R. O. will live on here.

1. Robin Milford’s young son Barnaby had been run over and killed by a car just outside his house.
2. i.e. Adeline VW’s elder sister Emmeline, wife of R.O. Morris. R.O. Morris lived with the VWs for some time after this.
