I think, if the concert comes off at all we had better do Leighton’s “Veris Gratia” since the Symphony has already been heard in public in London.1
I should be very glad if you would allow Boyd Neel to borrow the score and parts. Half an hour will be all right. I rather forget what it is for. I think there is a solo oboe and solo viola cello. Perhaps you could put me wise about that?
As regards Robin Milford, I am at present in negotiation with Stanley Bate about a new work. If that fails I should like to put in Robin very much.
