Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to G.E. Moore

Letter No.: VWL3078

From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.

November 16 [1949]

Dear Moore

I see you are still at the old address –
I am so glad of all your advice – I am writing to the Provost1 as you suggest and I gladly accept your offer to write as well which would be very influential.
Your idea of an honorary Fellowship is a brilliant one – it had not occurred to me and if the Provost discourages me in my other scheme I will try that which in some ways is a more distinguished honour.
Yrs

R. Vaughan Williams
