Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Evelyn Barbirolli
Letter No.: VWL2710
From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.
August 2nd 1953.
My dear Evelyn,
It was good of you to write and tell me your news, also the amusing press cutting. Is it true that you brought the wind machine home with you? Fancy John going off again!. will he have to go a third time in any other capacity??? I hope you visited the Victoria Falls on your way back as John said you were going to. I am so glad he is better.1
All love from us both,
Yrs
