Letter No.: VWL4267

From R. Vaughan Williams,
10 Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park
London, N.W.1.

Sept 27 1957

My dear Eva
Fancy me never having answered your lovely great1 postcard – But I have been away such a lot! I have never seen St Michael’s Mount – only the French one in Normandy – Have you ever seen that?
I do hope you had a good holiday – I hope you are coming to my party in Dorking Halls
Love from
Uncle Ralph

1.  Difficult to read but recipient thought “great”.  Apparently the Hornsteins had holidayed in Cornwall.
