Dear Dent

I was talking to my brother-in-law H.A.L. Fisher (minister of education)1 on Sunday – He thinks he could get a sum of money to start English opera – Now he has been talking with P. Greene1 & Beecham3 & sucking in their ideas – I am very anxious he should hear the ideas of the younger generation & suggested that you wd be the person to give him these. He wd very much like to have a talk with you about it – Could you find time when next you come to London to make an appointment with him? Now is the time to strike!
