[15th July 1936]

Dear Diana

LHMC1 Towns want to do part of Parry’s Judith – Novellos will print us off 350 copies for £45 & 500 for £55 – we shall want about 350 – Do you think it would be suitable for your festival2 (all the last part from “The coming of the Assyrians” onward, with a few cuts – about not as hard as Brahms Requiem). Will you let me know.
Are you coming for our party at Hereford – it will be lovely if you do.
Love from

Uncle Ralph
