Dear Cordelia

That is splendid news about the infant. It was good of Bernard to wire us.
We are having a very hymnious1 journey – fellow passengers dull except for Gerrald2 Moore and his wife and a delightful elderly Anglo-American Miss Skume and about 3 passably pretty girls – so not much doing there. We had a good start – but then it got very stormy & Ursula lay low for 24 hours – but she is quite well now – only bored as we both are with nothing to do but eat & sleep at which we both do plenty!
We shall not arrive in New York till Sunday morning at 8.0 – It is lovely weather now with a lot of sun & wonderful glacial sea
Love to all from us both
Yrs

Ralph
