Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Christopher Morris (OUP)

Letter No.: VWL3497

From R. Vaughan Williams,
10, Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park,
London, N.W.1.

[About March 1956]

Dear Mr. Morris

I return “God bless the master”  with corrections1
Also proof of Aeroplanes  – I fear I must ask for a further revise of certain parts viz. 3, 6, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21 & preface. I am not sure that the correction on p. 6 is clear – I want an F added in the soprano part i.e.

instead of only the B.
The ship3 will be ready for you if you care to send a messenger.
