My Dear le Fleming
First my very best wishes for your happiness and I am so glad about the cantata1 having been so well done.
With regard to your kind invitation. – I have been absurdly laid up with a poisoned leg & today the doctor is coming to see whether I may go to B’mouth at all – so if I do go I fear I ought to go straight and not make any detours however delightful.
Yrs R Vaughan Williams
