Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Arnold Goldsbrough
Letter No.: VWL3437
From R. Vaughan Williams,
10, Hanover Terrace,
Regents Park,
London, N.W.1.
October 18th 1956
Dear Arnold
Thank you so much both of you for remembering my birthday. I wish we could have met at Gloucester.
I hope your letter does not mean that you have given up music and taken to pig keeping? Lots of people can keep pigs quite nicely but very few can practise music in the way that you can.
Please give my love to Jo: I often think of you both when Dorking Festival comes round.
Yrs
