I believe I never wrote to thank your mother & you & your brother for your great hospitality – a fine visit though so short & I want to say that I think you are a wonderful person & I hope your choir are worthy of you – I think they are1
This is an answer to your v. nice letter for which I thank you heartily – so this wants no answer.

1. Barter was the conductor of the Bristol Philharmonic Society. VW had conducted their performance of Job and Three Choral Hymns at the Colston Hall in Bristol on 24th March 1934.
