I will answer your question about printing the symphony in a few days. Meanwhile I am writing to ask Roy¹ what my opinion about it is.²

Frank had written to VW on 17th February asking if it was safe to start engraving the full score of the Eighth Symphony (Catalogue of Works 1955/3) or did VW still wish to wait until after the first performance in case he wanted to make further revisions. The Symphony had received a run-though a few days previously on 13th February.
