From R. Vaughan Williams,

Westcott Road,
Dorking.

Dec 13 [1935]

Dear Mr Frank

Is there any chance that the Five Tudor Portraits will be out in time for me to send as Xmas presents.  Have the Norwich people written to you about it – I promised it them by November 1!  I am sending the proofs of ‘Running Set’ on to Miss Lasker who shall return them to you.  I was much interested in Phyllis’ Psalm – I hope I made some useful suggestions.1
Yours sincerely

R. Vaughan Williams

1.  Phyllis Tate, the composer, was Frank’s wife. This seems to be an early unpublished work.
