Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Alan Frank (OUP)

Letter No.: VWL1173

From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,
Dorking.

April 13 [1937]

Dear Frank

The following is the account for copying the parts of the ‘Flourish’.  In the case of the copies from the score the copyist charged 8d per page as it included checking my manuscript.  This I have reduced to 7d per page. The total therefore comes to  £11-13-0
There is also Rowe’s bill for copying the reduced wind and percussion parts which comes to £3-12.6 for one set.
Yours sincerely

R. Vaughan Williams
