Many thanks for the copies of P.P. safely arrived.1
As regards sending out complimentary copies I should like to send the following personal ones myself, namely:
Mrs Wood, Mrs. Hornstein, Mrs. Hartmann, Sir B.L. Richmond, Christopher West, Coghill, Burton, Hancock, Matters, Sir S. Wilson, Hagley, Foss, Robinson and Barter. & Dent.2
The more official ones I will ask you to send, namely
Boult, Barbirolli, Sargent, Murrill, Clive Carey, Kleiber, the Dean of Liverpool3 and the Dean of Chichester,4
in addition, of course to the ones you marked in your list.
I do not know if this is too many, so of course you must use your judgment about this.
As regards a German performance, Muller-Hartmann, before he died sent a copy of the original version to Hamburg, but I do not think anything ever happened.
