Dear Frank,
I quite agree to giving M.M.¹ £10.10/- to be deducted from my royalties.
You ask about new choral works. There are two in sketch which I am trying through on November 20th here at 3.30 p.m. Of course if you would care to come I should be delighted. But I fear I cannot ask any more of the O.U.P. staff as room is limited in our comparatively small music room and as we already have sixteen performers to put up accommodate. They will consist of 8 Tudor Singers, a string quartet, Michael Mullinar at the pianoforte and Steuart Wilson reciting.
The works are:
(1).  “An Oxford Elegy” for reciter, chorus and small orchestra.
(2).  “Fantasia on the Old 104th Psalm Tune” for pianoforte solo, chorus and orchestra.
The orchestra on the 20th will be represented by the pianoforte (when it has an opportunity) and the string quartet.
The “Fantasia” is probably going to be done at the Gloucester Festival 1950 with Mullinar playing the pianoforte part.
