Do you think it w^d be possible to do Gerontius¹ with strings & organ only (with possible pfte & timpani) – I want to suggest it to my L H M F²  C^tee on July 25^th and the above in present circumstances (performance in church with high pitch, very little room & no names) are the only available means.³
