Dear Adrian
Many thanks for your letter – Probably the inchoate (piano1) concerto2 had better stand over and please say nothing about it to anyone as it may all come to nothing.
You ask about neglected master pieces by me. About 20 years ago I had a piece played called “In the Fen Country”3 which I rather liked then. I will look it out one day and see whether I still like it enough to submit it for your disapproval.
