[June 1931?]

Dear V.W.
I am so grateful to you
You are good to allow yourself to be bothered by me in this way.  I am so grateful to you, altho’ I wish it were not necessary to give you so much trouble.  But it is difficult when you don’t know the tunes, I can’t explain to you precisely what is required.  I suppose if I could I should be able to do the job myself!
I think Haste to the Wedding & Kitty’s Rambles are much better as you have done them now, altho’ I am a little uncertain if what you have meant the Kitty’s Rambles to end because you have put a blue pencil mark thro it.
I think the best way will now be for me to copy out all the arrangements & then send them back to you.  I am afraid there are still bits here & there wh. don’t seem quite right, so but I will mark & make suggestions on the the fair copies.  so will you bear with me if I mark & make suggestions on the fair copies.
I found I did not send you the Sylph, Pipers, Morpeth, & so I hope you did not spend much time looking for them.
