Letter from Lewis Crow to Ralph Vaughan Williams
Letter No.: VWL3036
21st July, 1953.
Dr. Ralph Vaughan Williams, O.M.,
The White Gates,
Nutcombe Lane,
Dorking.
Dear Dr. Vaughan Williams,
Apparently at any rate three people have been over The White Gates since I had had the pleasure of speaking to you last, but up to the present I have heard no more from any of them.
I spoke on the telephone to Messrs. Hampton & Sons about your suggestion of putting in another advertisement and they undertook to insert one in an early edition of The Times, which we felt to be the best medium. I think most of the local people know the property is unsold.
Yours sincerely,
