Letter from Adeline Vaughan Williams to Ralph Vaughan Williams
Letter No.: VWL1212
Wednesday smorn [8th September 1937]
Dear One –
The great day1 –
So hope the chorus will be as good as in Elijah – surely better – with that to sing – .
All is well here. Josiah has break2 in bed – & Bruce Smith comes to see him – I shall be glad of this as V can get a clearer idea about food. He’s a perfect dear –
Refreshing rain in night & lovely again.
If you want to send your suit case back by train there are the keys inside the case – loose on a label.
I do hope you havn’t knocked your head at all.
No sleds of interest –
