Letter from Adeline Vaughan Williams to Gerald Finzi

Letter No.: VWL769

From A R. Vaughan Williams,

Westcott Road,
Dorking.

Dear Gerald

I think I will send you Marian Scott’s letter1 so that you can see what she says about Ivor Gurney. I wrote to her some weeks ago asking her what she thought about the possibility of getting him into the country for a few weeks – I thought of a doctor’s house – but evidently we shan’t manage it. Dr Robinson is too timid just now.
Our love to you all
Yrs
