My dear Diana –
We were so pleased to have your letter – all the nicer to have it, in a way, after the hurly burly of Xmas – not that we hurled or burled excessively.
…
Its nice to think that you may be at the Albert Hall on Sat – listen to R’s new version for the Running Set & tell me what you think. I like it very much as played by him on the piano…
If you have a tramp of Ralph’s build do let me know!1 I despair of ever finding a home for his old (very old) clothes – & there’s a very warm great coat too…
Here’s R – he sends love & says if you come up on Sat: let him know as he wdnt like to miss you.
Yrs
AMVW
Love from us all.
1. i.e. at Diana’s hostel in Pauntley – see VWL1088.
