Dear Diana
Thank you so much for the field daffodils. They do not grow so well in the South as in Glos. I am so fond of them.
There is great rejoicing at your coming – Monday 24th.1
You looked after Uncle R wonderfully.2 He was very tired yesterday but is beginning to recover. This Festival season has perils for him.
