I was very glad to see your letter and to know how you still think of EFDS1 and all your English friends in these times. I was interested to hear of your daughter’s musical career.

friend Mazzoleni who was a very brilliant pupil at the RCM2 is now a professor at Toronto.

I see a good deal now of our mutual friend Maud Karpeles – she is very busy with Refugee musicians among other things. May we once more meet again in happier times
