1. Later Mrs John Burnaby(?). She was secretary (?) of the Cambridge branch of the English Folk Dance Society.
2. Pencil note by the recipient: ‘My first suggestion of a Ballet’. The idea was to put on a ballet at Cambridge – the end result was Old King Cole, Catalogue of Works 1923/2.
