London N.W.1.
May 4th 1957
My dear Juanita,
How nice to hear from you. Do try and learn as many of the ballads as you can, if you can fit them in between the fly fishing sessions. It sounds a most idyllic holiday, and I wish we could join you. But I am working, and having to go to Scotland and to Bath this month, and next we are going to Austria. Perhaps we shall meet again in the Forest before too long.
We both send you both our love,
RVW
