2024 Vaughan Williams Bursaries

Over the last 40 years 260 Vaughan Williams Bursaries have been awarded to help fund Masters Degrees in composition. Previous recipients have included Graham Fitkin, Christian Alexander, Anna Meredith, Gavin Higgins, Hannah Kendall and Daniel Kidane.

This year the Foundation has awarded seven Bursaries, totalling £30,000, for the 24-25 academic year. We congratulate all the composers and hope their next year is fascinating and enriching. Keep your ears open for the range and talent of these new voices.
