We're delighted to welcome four new Vaughan Williams Scholars.

For more than 40 years Vaughan Williams funding has been awarded to support postgraduate study in composition. Each student receives a scholarship of £8,000 towards their studies in 2026-7.

The new Vaughan Williams Scholars are (clockwise from top L):

Patrick Gorry - Royal Northern College of Music

Scarlett Henderson - Guildhall School of Music and Drama

Donnchadh Mac Aodha - Royal College of Music

Dominic Wright - Guildhall School of Music and Drama

Recipients in previous years have included Graham Fitkin, Julian Anderson, Christian Alexander, Anna Meredith, Larry Goves, Gavin Higgins, Hannah Kendall and Daniel Kidane.
